Shopping with Paper Angels – the Terms & Conditions

Placing an order

We want your Paper Angels shopping experience to be as enjoyable and straightforward as possible.

To shop with Paper Angels you simply add your chosen products to the shopping basket and then proceed towards the checkout once you have finished shopping, by clicking on the basket button. There is no minimum order level but orders under £40 will be charged £3.50 P&P.

We accept payment by debit/credit card through and Paypal Express through this website and do not accept payment via any other means.

You will receive confirmation emails (as long as the correct email address was entered) to inform you of the progress of your order at different stages, including when your order is ready for dispatch.

Orders are dealt with strictly in the order they are received. No ‘queue jumping’ is allowed as this would be unfair on other customers.

Out of stock items

Just like you won’t be able to buy an out of stock item in a standard craft shop, the same applies to our online store. Although we try our hardest for this not to happen, it is inevitable that an item will become out of stock through either high demand or the supplier being out of stock. The ability to purchase an item is suspended as soon as we run out of any product.

Stock levels are checked when you add an item to your shopping basket and also when you checkout. This way we hope to avoid any stock shortages, however this can sometimes occur during sale times and because of damage or short deliveries. If this happens, your item will be marked as out of stock on your invoice and we will send it on as soon as we get it in.

We send a weekly automatic email to all customers who are awaiting out of stock items and you will be offered the choice of waiting for your item or receiving a refund. You can ask for a refund on an out of stock item at any time and it will then be removed from your order.

Postage & Packing

We currently only offer postage to UK addresses. At the moment we do not offer postage overseas. Postage is free for all orders over £40. Orders up to £39.99 will have a standard postage charge of £3.50. There is no minimum order with Paper Angels.

If non-faulty goods are returned and the goods value is reduced to less than £40, refunds will be given less the relevant postage cost.

Delivery

We aim to make sure your order is dispatched within 3-5 working days but please allow 7 working days for delivery. Often your order can be processed sooner than this but sometimes we run promotions which cause an extremely high traffic level to the website and we may need extra time for these orders to be delivered. You will receive an email from us to let you once your order has been dispatched. If your order has been sent by courier, tracking information will be included in the email. For orders sent by Royal Mail, they should arrive within 3 working days from date of email. Occasionally, orders sent by Royal Mail may experience a delay due to problems within the Royal Mail. If your order has been sent this way please allow 14 days for delivery. Please contact us if your order hasn’t arrived within these timescales.

If your order is either large or bulky (not able to fit through a letterbox), the delivery address that you provide MUST be one where someone is there in the daytime to receive the parcel - a work address is best where possible. This will ensure that deliveries are made without problems. Although parcels may be left in a place around your property nominated by you, this is at your own risk. If no instructions are included we will add the instruction to leave the parcel with a neighbour. We will NOT add ourselves the instruction to leave the parcel outside unless authorised by you.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Please email us within 7 days of receipt of your parcel if you would like to return an item.

For faulty or damaged items, we will replace or refund for the damaged goods as required. We will also pay the cost of returning your goods. DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED GOODS WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST. Postage will not be refunded on faulty goods returned without prior notification. Please return them to us within 14 days of receipt. Please enclose a copy of your invoice indicating the items being returned.

For returned items, we will be happy to refund you for the returned items providing they are returned in their original condition with any sealed packaging unopened. You must pay the cost of returning the goods and you will be responsible for their safety during transportation. When returning items, please obtain a free proof of postage receipt from the Post Office. This is so you can make a claim against them in the event of the goods being lost in the post.

If you ordered incorrectly or want replacement goods for returned items, this will be regarded as a new order and should be made through the website in the usual way which will include postage and packing at the standard rate.

When returning goods, it is your responsibility that they are packed so as to avoid damage in the post as goods must be received by us in a re-saleable condition. If any returns received are not in a re-saleable condition, we may only refund you 50% of the retail value of the goods.

Magazines cannot be returned. We cannot exchange or refund any money on items that have been used. Products returned that formed part of a multiple that qualified for an additional discount will be refunded at the reduced price.

Where non-faulty goods are returned when the original order has qualified for free postage and packing, and the total order amount is reduced to less than the free postage threshold, refunds will be given less the appropriate postage charge.

Please feel free to reproduce any of our projects for local sale or for personal use. Reproduction is limited to 100 of any design per year (ie. no mass production).

Reproductions should not be shown on any other website (including E-bay), whether for sale or not. If you wish to show a reproduction of one of our designs on an online gallery, you must acknowledge www.paper-angels.co.uk under the picture or you will be asked to remove it. You should not claim that any of our projects that you see on our site are your own design or enter them into any competitions or online card galleries as such. Our pictures of projects, products and step-by-step project instructions must not be reproduced on any other website.
